week 9 — Art Activity — Student Choice, Part 2

- My original project idea was to do lighter color oil crayons and use a screwdriver to carve lines over the final product.
- The only difference in my final product was I decided to make the wings bright orange.
- I honestly wasn’t stoked on the final, and i think i actually like the way the original sketch looks more bc its less busy and the no face made it simpler. I decided to give the final no facial features either which I think I would do different. The amount of detail in the beginning also made it so the lines added a little too much and it turned into something too busy with the already bold colored wings.
- I think my project became weaker because I was already really loving the way the sketch turned out.
- This is my second time carving the lines in with a screwdriver and I have already improved a lot.
- If I did this project again I would choose between lines and a bolder color choice.
